Two hundred and fifty years.

The 4th of July is the biggest drinking day on the American calendar. Sixty-eight million cases of beer. Four billion dollars in alcohol. No other holiday comes close. And yet, quietly, something is shifting underneath all of it.

A Gallup poll this year found that only 54% of Americans now say they drink - a 90-year low. More than half the country, for the first time ever, believes that even one or two drinks a day is bad for them. Among people under 35, just one in two drink at all. The generation who'll be lighting the fireworks this 4th July has a different relationship with alcohol than any before it.

This isn't a sobriety movement. It's something more interesting - a country that loves the ritual, the cold drink, the clink, the cooler, but is quietly asking whether the alcohol itself is the point.

And yet ask anyone what they actually remember about their best 4th and they won't mention a drink. They'll mention the corn, the watermelon, the hours outside, the moment the sky went off and everyone went quiet.

The drinking was there. It just wasn't the point.

This year is different. Bigger fireworks, bigger crowds, a 250th that people will be talking about for decades. You want to see all of it. Clearly. Eyes wide open.

Not fuzzy. Not building a headache by 6pm. Not half-present for the best moment of the night.

That's where Free AF enters the chat.

All the ritual - the cold drink, the clink, the cooler, the ceremony - without the part that blurs you before the night's even over. You're not missing out. You're in front of a shift that half the country is already making.

Show up in your red, white and blue. Stay all day. See every second of it.
